Thanksgiving Shopping Trip - Rite Aid

Here's how I fared at Rite Aid on Thanksgiving. They didn't have a few of the items I'd planned on getting, but I was still able to get some great deals. 


Rite Aid total before coupons: $44.39 + tax = $48.42
My OOP: $6.41 + tax = $10.44, with $8 UPs remaining
Savings: $37.98, 78% (should’ve been $39.78)

I started with $16 UPs from previous purchases.

Cost: $0.99, earned $1 UP (making this FREE + $0.01 profit)

2 Degree for Men deodorant @ $2.00 = $4.00 (regularly $3.79 each)
Used (2) -$1.00 mfr coupons
Cost: $2.00, earned $2 UPs (making these FREE)

Revlon scented nail polish $2.99 (regularly $4.79)
Used -$1.00 VV coupon
Cost: $1.99, earned $2 UPs (making this FREE + $0.01 profit)

Revlon Top Speed nail polish $2.99 (regularly $5.99)
Used -$2.00 VV coupon
Cost: $0.99, earned $2 UPs (making this FREE + $1.01 profit)

2 Scunci no-damage hair elastics @ $1.99 = $3.98 (regularly $3.99 each)

2 10pc nail polish kits @ $0.99 = $1.98 (regularly $4.99 each—cashier substituted them because they didn’t have the Little Luxuries nail kit featured in their ad)

Transaction # 2

2 Hershey’s Pot of Gold candy @ $3.99 = $7.98 (regularly $9.99 each)
Cost: $7.98, earned $4 UPs (making these $1.99 each)

2 Planters Holiday 3-pack nuts @ $4.99 = $9.98 (regularly $9.99 each)
Cost: $9.98, earned $4 UPs (making these $2.99 each)

Transaction # 2 total before coupons: $17.96 + tax = $19.52
-$14.98 UPs from Transaction # 1 (should’ve been $16.98, but cashier didn’t scan one of them and I didn't realize until I got home… bummer)
My OOP: $2.98 + tax = $4.54, earned $8 UPs
